Jazz, the country’s largest cellular network, has been ordered to discontinue misleading and unfair marketing tactics by using the phrase “Super 4G” to represent its 4G network in ads.
Jazz has been ordered to stop using words or phrases with “Super” appended as a prefix or suffix in its print and electronic media commercials, according to ProPakistani.
The decision has been issued that Jazz will have to remove all of its marketing campaigns that refer to its 4G mobile network and services as “Super 4G” now
The petition was considered by an Intellectual Property Tribunal, which issued an interim order against Jazz.
The tribunal was hearing a complaint regarding Jazz’s ads in print and electronic media, alleging that it misled the public by referring to its 4G network as “Super” 4G.
